The Alan Patio
Next Gen Hardscapes transformed a northern Utah backyard to create a multi-level outdoor living space that beautifully blends function and style. The project includes a sturdy concrete patio adjacent to the house designed to support a deck and hot tub, seamlessly connecting indoor and outdoor living areas.
Complementing the concrete patio, a step-down paver patio was constructed featuring a retaining wall bench perfect for enjoying a fire pit. The layout offers an inviting view of the well-maintained vegetable garden, creating a serene and practical outdoor environment for relaxation and entertainment.

The backyard is cleared and prepped with excavation equipment and retaining wall blocks staged for installation near the vegetable garden.

A partial retaining wall is built forming the boundary of the future step-down paver patio beside the garden area.

Compacted gravel base is prepared and timber framing is installed for the concrete patio adjacent to the house.

Concrete is freshly poured with a finishing machine smoothing the surface of the patio area next to the house.
